My Story

My name is Rachel, and I am so happy to have you visit my website. I’d love to share some of my story with you so you can better understand the passion that drives my work in nutrition, ADHD, and brain health. When I became a first-time mum to my bright and inquisitive son, I knew very little about neurodevelopmental differences or how nutrition plays a role in brain function. At the time, I was working in the property world in St John's Wood, London, NW8, right on the famous Abbey Road. My son attended a nearby local school on Abercorn Place, and as a single mother, I worked tirelessly to build his best possible future. I loved my job, but it soon became apparent that my son was not as settled and showed signs of inattentiveness and impulsivity.

After much soul-searching, seeking help, and assessments by educational psychologists, child psychiatrists, and clinical experts, my son was eventually diagnosed with ADHD and Dyslexia. These diagnoses opened a whole new world that was utterly unfamiliar to me. With no clear direction, I quickly learned how to navigate this new environment, understanding special educational needs, symptoms, and research findings. I often felt lost and alone on our new path. I knew that something had to change.

So, I made a life-changing decision: I left my career in property and enrolled at university to study psychology and nutrition. Fourteen years later, I emerged with several degrees, specializing in ADHD and neuropsychology. I am so grateful that I learned to adjust my sails in the storm despite the obstacles and challenges. I also learned that certain nutrients directly impact brain health, activity, and function. In addition, changing my son's diet helped him study better in class and improve his mood.

If you’re a parent reading this, I truly understand your journey. If you’re an adult struggling with undiagnosed symptoms and wondering if you may be neurodivergent, you’ve come to the right place. This is a safe, welcoming space to learn about the science behind brain health and change the course of your life in the process. Rest assured that I’m committed to helping clients on their unique brain health journeys from a combined psychological and nutritional perspective.
